Chris Jensen, the man who became conscience-stricken a few days ago and gave himself up to Detective Robert Burlr, declaring that ho wns wanted for forgery In Dillon. Mont,, was taken back to that city today. The prisoner left for Dillon In custody of D. V. Krwln. a Montana deputy sheriff. Jensen told the Ogden officer that he had worked for a man In Dillon for soma time and that his employer . had always treated hint "squnre." Seeing an opportunity op-portunity to obtain a sum of money by fraud, the prisoner forged the name of his employer to a check, got the money and left town. His conscience began to smite him shortly after he left Montana three weeks "ago. and finally, driven almost al-most to desperation by remorse, he asked that he be locked up. |
