Show SEWER TAX IN PROVO; CITY TO CLEAN UP Special to Tho Tribune. PROVO, June 2S. A committee from the Provo Commercial club, consisting of Mayor XV. U. Ray. Wllford F. Giles and C. Eugene Fletcher, waited on the city council to ask that the city arrange for cleaning and sprinkling the streets lor the U. C. T. outing here July I and 5. The Commercial chih was granted the privilege of Academy avenue ' and the city property south of the postofflce to bo used for booths for the information bureau. Marriage licences have been Issued by the county clerk to Floyd Schew and Goldie Dorlon, both of Lehi; Archie Max-Held Max-Held and Nellie Holland, both of Linden. The last named couple were married In the clerk's office by County Clerk Kartch-nor. Kartch-nor. Mrs. Julia Allen, 30 years of age, ot Pleasant Grove, was examined as to her sanity today by Drs. Noycs and Pyno and committed to tho state mental hospital. Mrs. Allen Is the mother of three- children. chil-dren. She baa a delusion that It is wrong to eat and refuses to take food, with tho result that she Is in a precarious condition. |
