Show FALLS DOWN ORE CHUTE; A BROKEN LEG RESULTS Special to The Tribune. BINGHAM, Juno 2S. Tom Glnls, a Greek, aged 32 years, employed at the Boston Consolidated mine as a mucker, fell a distance of 200 feet down an oro chute shortly before noon today and sustained sus-tained a broken leg and several had contusions con-tusions about the body and head. No one seems to know exactly at what time Glnls fell Into tho chute'. It was shortly after noon that the gateman at the end of the chute began loading tho cars. The gate had just been opened when tho Inert form of Glnls shot through with lightning speed. Beforo tho gate could be closed, Glnls's body had been covered In several feet of ore. Workmen were Immediately put to work extricating the man from his perilous position, Dr. C N. Ray examined tho Injured man and ordered or-dered him sent to SL Mark's hospital Immediately Im-mediately for treatment. While working in the tunnel of tho lampa mine today, Mike Gcnch, an Austrian Aus-trian machine man, was struck on the right leg with a huge boulder, causing a bad break below tho knee. Dr. S'traup. after examining the man. ordered him to SL Mark's hospital, where the Injured member was sot. |
