Goorge E, Gunn of tho well-known firm of Gunn-Thompson. returned to his Salt Lake headquarters Tuesday morning from a trip through Nevada, California and Arizona, where he has extensive mining interests. In thu old days many ore shipments were made from this property, tho work being dono within the oxidized zono on the 200 and 300 levels. This ore rati as high as 250 ounces silver, 52 per cent copper and from $20 to $30 gold per ton. One car of only 23 tons netted tho shippers ship-pers tho sum of $10,000. Should the resources re-sources be maintained In the sulphide zone, the Magma should be one of tho most remarkable producers of rich rock In the west. The present development, work, therefore Is full of Interest and It is being watched closely both here and In Arizona. |
