Show SIX-DAY MOTORCYCLE RACE AT BRIGHTON Tribune Special Sporting Service. ' NEW YORK. Sept. 11 A slx-dav motorcycle mo-torcycle race, the first to be held fn this country, will take place over the Brighton Brigh-ton race track, beginning at midnight, September 2(5. and ending at midnight. October The meet will bo held under the auspices or tho Motor Cycle Contest association, and It Is announced that the prizes and trophies will bo the most valuable valu-able ever offered for motor evelo races. Brighton Beach track has been put in exceptionally fine condition for the automobile auto-mobile races that have been held there within the last few months and It Is believed be-lieved that the six-day motor cvele racers will hang up new records for almost every distance traveled in the long grind. Each day there will be special sprint races to entertain the crowd. Dr. Thornley. chairman of the competition competi-tion board of the Federation of American Motor Cyclists, wll visit the track to pass upon its suitability for motor cycle racing. rac-ing.
