Show Woman's Citizens Committee of Sail Lake It has been said that the most important impor-tant part of any army Is Its stomach, or, .ot least, Its commissary department, and from this point of view the committee commit-tee which supplied accommodations for the visitors to the encampment, and especially es-pecially housed and fed the old veterans, Is certainly one of tho most Important of all the long- list. To the officers of the Woman's Citizens Citi-zens committee Is duo In a very largo measure much of whatever success thcro may be of the forty-third national encampment. en-campment. TCver since tho first meeting, early In the spring, when there assembled assem-bled at the Commercial club representatives representa-tives of every church organization in the city, representatives of every woman's wo-man's club, and representatives of eveiy publlc school, these women have been hard at work appointing committees to have charge of the details of the work To "Mrs. W. II. .Tones, president, nnd Mrs. Stocking, secretary, great credit should be given for their untiring energy In keeping alive an enthusiastic spirit tfs u-r at ox '''''( -y mWmX&. ii 1 and pushing to a successful conclusion the details connected with the many Important Im-portant duties of providing sleeping and eating accommodations for the expected guest. Special mention should be made of Mrs. "W. U. Gaby, who had much to do with providing the living Hag and who had direct chargo of the costumes. In this matter she gave Prof. W. A. Wetzell, the director, great assistance. Mrs. Israel, Mis. Kent ICeycs, Mrs. W. .13. Short. Mrs, Gcorgo Canning and Mrs. Lane, also gave great assistance In producing pro-ducing tho living Hag.
