NOTICE TO CONTEAOTORS. Notice Is hereby given that sealed bids will bo received by tho undersigned up to 12 m.. August 15. 1909, for the materials and labor required In tho erection of a bollor house and pipe conduit to bo erected erect-ed on tho lot of the Sumner school, located lo-cated at 610 South Third East, for tho Salt Lako City Board of Education, according ac-cording to plans, specifications nnd drawings draw-ings which aro open for Inspection of tho bidders at the ofllco of Richard KletUng. architect, In tho Hooper & Eldrcdge block. Salt Lake City, Utah, and all bids and proposals at tho above time will bo nubllclv opened and read in the ofllco of the Board of Education In tho city and countv building, Salt. Lako City. Utah. VII bids must be addressed to "Board of Education for Salt Lako City," and marked in tho lower left hand corner "Bids for boiler house, Sumner school, or such bids can bo delivered to the Board of Education at tho said timo and place of opening same. Bids must not contain conditions, qualifications, qual-ifications, propositions, or any other things than thoso mentioned In plans, specifications, drawings, contracts and bonds, and bidder must uso tho form of bids which will bo found at tho offlco of the said architect, and no other form of bid will be received. A certified or cashier s check on some bank in Salt Lako City. Utah, for at least 5 per cent of the amount of each bid must bo onclosed. Each check Is to bo made payablo to the undersigned, and Is to bo forfeitod to tho undersigned In caso tho bid Is accepted and tho bidder docs not enter into the contract within three days after Its acceptance, for the faithful execution of tho contract and bond hereinafter mentioned. The proposed contract and bond are also at tho office- of said architect and can there bo examined. A bond must be furnished for one-half of the bid, nnd good and sufficient sure-tics, sure-tics, all satisfactory to tho undersigned.
