ROOM SCALPERS ARE NOW GETTING BUSY Room scalpers are busy in Salt Ijake trying to graft in a mean, cheap way ofi' tho situation created by tho coining of tho G. A. R. and the consequent overcrowding of the sleeping accommodations accommo-dations in the city. The gamo is to register nt any of the hotels, especially those of the" better bet-ter class, and pay down for a room several sev-eral days ahead; then when the city is overflowing with old soldiers anil their friends, to peddle these reserved rooms at scalper prices. Tho hotel men say that whenever they discovor that this is being done the contemptible specimens of half-humans half-humans will lose out on their own game, and that the room reservations thus fraudulently obtained will be canceled and tho rooms given to bona fide guests. One of this stripo tried his graft at tho Wilson hotel Satuvdaj' nighL, and was so quickly turned down that ho left in a hurry.
