Show CHAMPION WRESTLERS WILL MEET ON MAT II. W. Hoagren has signed up Stanley Stan-ley Karp of Kansas City and Julius Johnson, John-son, champion middleweight wrestler of the Pacific coast, for a match, best two in three falls, to be held at the Grand theater on Friday night, February 2G. Ilcagrcn received a wire from Manager Donnogan of Karp Sunday night, accepting accept-ing terms offered to come here to take on the coast champion. Neither man is known in this city, but they claim to have good records on the mat. Heagren says the match will be on tho square under his promotion and I the people will got a run for their money. J Billiard Tourney. j A handicap fourteen-lnch balklhic billiard bil-liard tournament is scheduled at Malone's academy, the opening game to he played between II.. B Lamb and Harry Wilson on Monday evening. D. S Campbell will I play from scratch for elghty-llve points: A. A. P. Reld. J. C. P.nno, A. L. Ostcr-land, Ostcr-land, C. W. Nunn and II. B. Lamb will play for seven ty-tlve points; A. J. Llddle nnd Harry Wilson, sixty points, and Lieutenant Lieu-tenant Snow for flfty-tlvc points. There will be a first and second prize. |
