Mrs. JDnnlcl Frohman. known on the stage as Margaret llllngton, Is said to be in a sanitarium in Oakland, where her own physician, who accompanied her from New York, Is in attendance upon her. According to rumor. Miss llllngton may marry E. J. Bowes,- a prominent local clubman and real estate operator. SInco her arrival here a week ago she was tho guest for several days of James H. Spring, president of the Western National bank, and with whom Bowes is associated In business. , , That Miss llllngton had come to California Cali-fornia for the purpose of bringing suit for divorce was admitted by Bowes. Asked If It was his intention to marry Miss llllngton when her divorce has been granted, he said. "That is a matter which tho future holds, and which I cannot discuss. I met Miss llllngton in the cast several years ago. I am well acquainted with her famllv and with Mr. Frohman. and am fricndlv with them and with htm. If a good woman finds that her path of happiness hap-piness lies in some other direction, she 1 has a perfect right to secure a divorce.
