Show OGDENTTER IN ORIENT. Echoes From Globe Trotter Now Doing Asia. Special to Tho Tribune. OGDEN", June 29. W. Foster of Xew York, who has been making a tour of tho Orient, arrived in Ogden today to-day from tho West, on the overland limited, and is going home. He had traveled some with the Minnie Jviesel party of globe trotters in Asia, and brought word here from them, having left; them at Shanghai. The parly was going from rhoro to Pekin, and return to Shanghai and from there to Japan, to visit tho Mikado and his flowerv Empire. Miss Kiesol's party consists of herself. her-self. Mrs. Jam or L. Franken and Miss Margaret Park, the two latter being from Salt Lake, and Mrs. Foster says that these three ladies havo toured a considerable portion of Asia on bike's and jinrickshaws, as well as on the existing ex-isting railway Hues. Miss Kiesel is the daughter of Fred J. Kiesel of Ogden, the big business man of the Junction Cit3'. |
