Judge Harold Salmon of Stockholm, Sweden, who la in this country for the purposo of studying the public school and Juvcnllo court systems, delivered a brief address to tho members of tho Boosters" club at tho Y. M. C. A. Sunday Sun-day afternoon. Praises School Systoin. .- Judge Salomon said to the boys that Sweden was a great country, and. In his opinion, was the greatest country on earth. Tho Swedish school system, he then said, was very good. In fact, ho thought tho school systems of Sweden and the United States tho best in tho world. Judge Saloman then suited that hi) had been sent here by the King of Sweden to Investigate public schools and Juvenile courts, and that he was much pleased with what he had seen whilo In this country. Did Much for Children. The. schools of Sweden, Judge Salomon said, did much for tho boys and girls of that countrv, but no more than la none In the United States. In closing. Judgo Salomon expressed the hope that the boys before him would grow up to bo good and useful citizens, adding, "Some of you may be President some day." "Courage nnd Cowardice." Preceding Judge Salomon's address. Judge Willis Brown and Attorney-General Brccden talked to the boys at some length. Judge Brown told a number of stories with interesting and instructive morals to them, and Attorney-General Brccden took for his subject "Courage and Cowardice." MaJ.
