I COMES TO MINE A Prominent Colorado Miner to Enter the .ocal Iield. Having temporarily suspended operations opera-tions at the Kelly tunnel, Georgetown, Colo., Benjamin F. Kelly, the founder of that undertaking by which Republican mountain has been penetrated to a distance dis-tance of 8000 feet, came In from the East yesterday, and accompanied by P. J. Donahue, the oxport mining man of this city, will begin a pllgrlmago among tho various camps of this State. Mr. Kelly haa driven some of the longest tunnols in the Western country, and along that particular lino of development has a record that is perhaps unequalled. This applies to Colorado at all events, no matter mat-ter what local talent may have done to equal tho visitor's achievements over the line, it was he who incepted tho Nelson tunnel at Creede, Colo., and through which tho product of no fewer than eight different mines is now being belched the long avenuo penetrating zone for mure than 0000 foet It I the Intention of tho visitor to make this city his headquarters headquar-ters and that he will ilnd something with which to properly engage his talentB here as a permanent resident the Colorado contingent has no doubt Certainly mining min-ing circles Will afford him every opportunity oppor-tunity to' acquire something worthy hla tlrrtC ana his talmt.
