Jeffrlef, when shown the flash bulletin announcing that Nelson had won, laughed heartily and snld: "I had a hunch all along thnt Nelson would win. Tonight I had a stronger hunch. Corbctt thought ho had 11 snap and neglected his training." It was not a question of "I told you so" with Jeffries. Before the fight started he expressed tho opinion to a group of newspaper men that Nelson would win.
