Show RED ELEPHANT ORES. Another Consignment From the Idaho Ida-ho Producer Reaches Smelter. W. G. Page, manager of the Red Elephant Ele-phant group of mines at Hallcy, Ida., which Is now the property of the Qulncy, Jr., Mining company, came down from tho North yesterday morning to confer with local interests and In time to witness wit-ness the sale of the latest lot of ore, the metallic contents of which consisted of llOG ounces In silver. 53 per cent lead nnd not a little gold Mr. Page roport3 that the Red Elephant Is In a most satisfactory satisfac-tory condition with ore of 6xccllent quality quali-ty exposed In a number of places, while tho new or lower tunnel with which Its various channels are to bo tapped has now advanced over 200 feet into the group. Meanwhile tho concentrator Is running conservatively nnd putting out a high grade concentrate, while the condlt'on throughout In most encouraging. The Croesus group of which he Is the superintendent continues Idle- with assurances assur-ances that it will resumo next spring. Tho Messrs. Klrkpatrlck and their associates by whom the Croesus Is owned, have expended ex-pended nlready n large amount of money, have achieved uood results and anothor season, says Mr. Page, should see the property actively productive. The usual volume of ore Is coming from tho Minnie Moore, while at tha Tip Top, i owned by John Q. Packard of this city. Is working steadilv and It Is said with good results. Mr. Page will loave for the North again next week. |
