Several Tried and True Operating Men Pushed r Up a Point. j j Two Trainmasters on IMvislon and Two Cliief Dispatchers According Accord-ing to Present Avrangementa. j Owing to the tremendous traffic on the Oregon Short Line there has Just ;r ' been rearrangement by Superln-j Superln-j teuuent Ed Man&on of the trainmasters i nnd chief dispatchers on the Idaho dl- vision. The circulars were out yester- day and approved by General Superintendent Superin-tendent Buckingham. The chief Im-L Im-L provement aimed nt Is to relieve Traln-p Traln-p master T. J. Duddleston of eoine of his jj work, and the details of the change i are as follows: A. B. Stevenson, who I1 has been chief dispatcher at Pocatello, has been promoted to be trainmaster at the same place for the first, second and Wyoming: Western districts, vice Duddlf-ston, whose Jurisdiction now Jn- I- dudes the Pocatello yard, third and Tl fourth districts, Wood River and Boise r branches. O. H Moody, from Kemrnerer, Is mude chief dispatcher at Pocatello of I the second, third and fourth districts, Wood River and Boise branches, vice f Stevenson, assigned to other duties. . J P. Foulger succeeds Moody as chief j dispatcher at Kemrnerer for the first j and Wyoming Western districts, i All these men are tried Oregon Short I Line veterans, and their friends will be t glad of the step upward In their work in the operating department. As stated In detail a few days ago, the road has never had such a traffic during any month in Its history, and its men, motive power and equipment are taxed to the limit to keep up with the rush. It is thought Jf the present pres-ent high record keeps up that there avIH be a chance for further promotion all along the line of this system, which Is rapidly forging to the front In comparison compari-son with all Western systems. |
