Tho club was thrown open last night for the first time thlB Bca-son, Bca-son, tho event being the initial do.nco of tho members, somo fifty of whom attended attend-ed with their wives or girl frlendB. Tho drawing-room, dining hall and other apartments on tho lower floor wero thrown Into ono long dancing hall, and tho Chrlstensen orchestra, stationed on tho balcony, furnished a programme of raro music throughout the evening. It was tho first tlmo society had enjoyed tho opportunity this year of dancing to the woll-rememborcd strains of this excellent orchestra, and tho danco was, thcrofore, all tho more enjoyable. Many now musical musi-cal numbers wero Introduced, but tho old favorites wero not forgotten, and to soft and dreamy waltzes and stirring two-steps two-steps tho programmo was made an attractive at-tractive one. Punch and lemonade wore served throughout tho ovonlng, and at 11 o'clock dainty refreshments became the feature of the hour Tho artistic Interior needed little decoration, but In all tho rcoms palms and cut flowers wore arranged ar-ranged with telling effect. The success of tho party was marked and many words of congratulation wero heard for tho social committee, while the appointment: and servlco rollected great credit upon the steward and his assistants of tho club. . Tho events of tonight will be tho hop at Fort Douglas, to which many from tho city havo teen bidden, and the dinner for sixteen to bo given at tho Knutsford by Dr. and Mrs. McEnery. followed by a stall party at tho theater. This being tho last table d'hote luncheon at tho Country club, Its enthusiastic members mem-bers are expected to bo present In large numbers, when over the teacups a Blgh will go up for the vanished season. Owing to tho enforced rest society has takon for so long, tho many dances of tho week will not tire tho young peoplo at all. It Is strange, however, that all the dances fall In one weok The high school alumni and tho college women of the University will hold rival dancos Friday night, ... Dr. and MrB. Donohor oro now In Paris and will make a complcto tour of Europo before returning to Park City. Tho bazar, Christmas sale and festival of tho Unitarian society will be held at Unity hall on December S-9.
