Show Unless something more important than has been recently discovered In Egypt ns "logia" (or words) of Jesus, is found, there will bo no particular reason reas-on to revise or add anything to the New Testament. A saying which embraces em-braces the formula, "and the kingdom of God is within you; and whoever shall know himself, shall find It," Is so evidently evi-dently a Greek corruption that it Is not worth much consideration as gospel. Besides, the texts' are so mutilated, and so many conjectural words have to be supplied, that all Idea of certainty certain-ty ia lost. The "logia" may be of interest in-terest to the curious and the special student, but to the average man they are of not the slightest importance. |
