OCR Text	Show BUTTE MINER MAY MEET JACK ROOT CHICAGO, July 2. The volatile press agent of a local play house yesterday sent out stories to the effect that, among others, "Jack Root would box Jack Munroe, the miner, at least twice here." Root's manager last night flatly denied de-nied that any such arrangement had been made. "Root will box Munroe," explained he, " but not in an exhibition exhibi-tion bout. If my man meets Munrtte at all, it will be to a decision, and I don't care whether this be for six or sixty rounds.
