FRESHMEN MEAN BUSINESS Tho freshmen engineers mot yesterday afternoon and olected the following class officers for. the ensuing year: Dale Pitt, president; Harry Moore, secretary and treasurer, George Llcbman, captain of tho Indoor baseball team; W. R. Marshall, captain of tho freshman football team. F. Scranton, Gcorgo Llcbman and John Z. Brown woro olected mcmbor3 of tho executive ex-ecutive board. It will bo remembered that the freshmen just recently won out ln the class track meet and that last fall they organized an Indoor baseball team which had things Its own way with most of the teams" ln tho city. It was voted at yesterday's mooting that all tho members who belonged to these teams should bo given their class numerals. Tho freshmen am already making mak-ing prcparal loirs for carrying on an active ac-tive campaign next year They Intend breaking all records prcvIouHly established estab-lished by Bophomoro classes and will endeavor en-deavor to do things up "brown." They Intend taking a very actlvo part In class athletics and will attempt to make class contests moro popular at the hill school.
