At a special meeting of the City Council held hero lust night It wus decided to purchase enough rolled stoel pipe to replaco the pipe now In UHe In tho water system. The pipe now In use was Installed about two years ago by tho Democratic city administration and In known as "aplral steel." It has proven a failure and during the time that It has been ln uso has cost the city ut least S2000 to repair leaks and pay for water lost on account of leakage.
