Duncan, commanding olllcer at .Fort Leavenworth, is in receipt of a telegram from the War department de-partment stating that President Roosevelt Roose-velt has approved the sentence dismissing dis-missing First Lieut. Frederick W. Mills of the Seventh infantry from tho army. Lieut. Mills, whoso home is in Albany, N. Y., has been under arrest In the hospital hos-pital here since December S, soon after Ills return from the Philippines. He is now at liberty. Mills was tried by courtmartlal on three charges, duplicating his pay account, ac-count, making falso ofricial statements and- refusing to pay bills he owed merchants. mer-chants.
