The producers who are eold ahead are placing plac-ing high prices upon future deliveries, but those who have plenty on hand and in sight arc willing to shade the current cur-rent quotations. The large exports which prevailed during the first thrc months of the year dropped off very heavily In April, amounting to only 13,-567 13,-567 tons against 22,675 tons for March."
