Show CMVtRSITY OF DESERET. The examination of students of the University of Deseret, and the consequent conse-quent exercises, closed yesterday afternoon, after-noon, with addresses by Hon. G. Q. Cannon, Superintendent It. L. Campbell Camp-bell and others. The examinations were very encouraging in every respect; and Dr. Park and the faculty of the University have reason to congratulate themfelves on tho success of their labor;. The examination in chemistry was especially thorough and gratifying; while in other departments the progress pro-gress was also eminently satisfactory.
