have been received from the Badger mine at BinRliam and it is stated that the men employed at the mine are now working on an ISinch body of firstclass lead ore The development devel-opment of the Badger is going on under the supervision of Superintendent Thomas Weir of the Highland Boy The company Is setting patents on the property and as soon as these are Issued the force at the mine will be increased and the shipments of ore will begin A consign men of mineral is now on the dump but it is not the intention to market any ores until the natents have been obtained Ben T Lloyd returned Thursday night from a visit to Mercur and an inspection inspec-tion of various properties In Camp Floyd district As a result of the trip Mr Lloyd Is fully satisfied that the Gold Dust Is the making of one of the best riropcii tlons in the camp and he was surprised at the splendid showing of ore In this property prop-erty Mr Lloyd also made an inspection of the Daisy mine on the west dip and he states that the 317foot shaft in this property has been sunk the entire distance dis-tance In a body of milling ore while the drifts north and south on the vein from the 200foot level have blocked out large bodies of this mineral and a crosscut on this level has demonstrated the fact that the body of ore Is 16 feet thick Mr Lloyd alto went to the Wonder and he states that wnile he was there some very fine looking mineral was being hoisted but while it looked good ore he ws unable un-able to determine anything as to Its gold values Mr Lloyd is of the opinion that Camn Floyd Is the making of one of the most productive and permanent gold camps to be found In the world and that the people of this country do not realize the magnitude and Immensity of the district |
