| Show BEAVER LAKE GOLD Eighteen Inches of HighGrade Mineral Min-eral Disclosed in the Shaft Manager A L Morris when he return re-turn from Beaver Lake district on l Friday of last week brought back with him a sack of ore from the bottom of a the shaft in the property of the Beaver L < kf > Copper company over the development de-velopment of which he has super USfil The vein from which the ore was taken was IS inches thick but the value of the mineral was not known or even guessed at until yesterday whoa fire tests made by Assayer Korty shred that it carried 2308 in gold fl55 ounces in silver and 24 per cent copper t the ton The company is highly elated over the wonderful discovery which 5s undoubtedly un-doubtedly the richest gold rock ever found in the district and if the vein holds its ownand there is every lEa son to believe that it will the organization organ-ization will be on a dividendpaying basis before the new year is many months old 1on The shaft in the Beaver Lake is c down a depth of 112 feet but before sinking can be continued the works will have to be timbered as there is some danger of caving In the meantime mean-time however work will be pushed in running the crosscut in order to reach the hanging wall and determine the width of the deposit which so far has been a ucccssion of stringers of copper ore from six inches to two feet in width most of which carry fair millingvalues interspersed with seams of high grade stuff but this is the first time that rock carrying such fabulous fab-ulous values has been encountered and as the ledge is well in place there is every reason to believe that with intelligent development this mine will male ti splendid record for itself in the near future Beaver Lake district is possessed of a splendid surface mineralization but until the past season no depth was gained in the camp surface scraping characterizing most of the development ever done in the district The indications indi-cations however would lead to the belief that by going to the deep a number of bonanza propositions will be brought to the light of day There are a number of promising propositions in the immediate neighborhood neigh-borhood or the Beaver Lake Copper company on which development work is being actively pushed |
