Show V CHANGE AT SALTATB The Christensen Orchestra Succeeds the Fort Douglas Military Band Thve Saltair Beach company has rescinded re-scinded its contract with the Fort Douglas Military band and beginning on the 27th inst a series of nine sacred concerts will be given by Christen sens enlarged orchestra Sunday patrons pa-trons of the resort will have no cause for complaint because of the change Advices from Philadelphia state that a Christian Endeavor excursion of at least 1000 people is coming to this city in time to joltt theIr associates at Salt air on Christian Endeavor day July 3 As a great many patrons of Saltair have urged upon the management the necessity of setting apart at least two nights of each week for ball purposes It has been decided to inaugurate the scheme on Saturday the 26th Inst and continue I a long as the balls are popular with patrons A childrens matinee will be given every Saturday from 4 to 630 p rn3 and at each matinee mat-inee Instructions in dancing will be given to the little ones by Professor Moses Christensen V At S oclock the I grand bal will commence and will last until 1015 p m These balls every I Wednesday and Saturday evenings Two special trains for the accommodation I accommoda-tion of dancers will be run on those days The trains will consist entirely of closed coaches which are conceded to be the handsomest excursion cars ever seen in this city These trains will leave the city at 545 and 213 p m |
