Miss Mabel Robinson the beautiful and accomplished daughter of Mr and Mrs Joseph Robinson and Mr Parker Dykes were united In matrimony last evening at the home of the brides parents par-ents by Rev W S Hunt who came from Salt Lake City to perform the ceremony Mr and Mrs Dykes will take up the realities of life here in Park City Mrs Dykes native home At 120 this afternoon Miss Juliana M Daly at made to pay his widow now a resident of Philadelphia 2000 That Is only one example of the promptness with which this great order of Workmen Work-men pav its death losses At Eureka Eureka June 1At the meeting of the council last night it wa decided de-cided to hold a celebration on the Fourth of July All were in favor of holding a celebration except the saloon men The reason for this was given that as the Fourth comes on Sunday and that by an ordinance recently passed by the city council providing that all saloons should be closed on Sundays they ere obliged to close down on that day They held that if the saloons were closed on that day that many who would otherwise remain her to celebrate would go to other towns where saloons were open thus taking a I large proportion of the money from the tpwn They said that i the council would allow them to open on the Fpurth that they would contribute to the fund and would join in celebrating After a private consultation the council decided to let all saloons be open on Sunday July 4 after which the proceedings pro-ceedings went on smoothly and the officers Icers were elected as follows Ives E Cobb general manager and T J Car don as secretary and giving the general gen-eral manager power to select the different dif-ferent committees I was also decided to hold n baseball game between Provo and Eureka and a foot race for the championship of Utah between Mr Schroeder of Provo and Kimmel of Park City in connection connecton with the many other amusements that generally take place on occasions of this kind The meeting then adjourned and
