Show THE IRELND DIVORCE Plaintiff In An Amended Complaint Makes Racy Allegations JUDGMENT FOR KINNEY IN THE CASE OP BTJTTEBITELD AGAINST C S BJNNEY Petit Jurors Accepted 3y Judge Hbr rell Andrew Bell Pound Guilty of Pccketpicking Oliver Hunter J an Alleged Passer of Counterfeit Coin On Trial Charles Gray Pleads Guilty to Burglary General Gen-eral News of the District Courts f An amended complaint was yesterday filed in the district court in the divorce case of John T Ireland jr against Efcfcle J Ireland It is alleged that the parties intermarried inter-married at Goldtn City Colo on May 6 1S91 and that from the date of the marriage until Jaruary 1S95 the parties par-ties lived together in a reasonably happy manner at Denver About that date it is charged that Mrs Ireland commenced a systematic course of cruel treatment tofards the plaintiff that she refused to take care of the house and compelled the plaintiff to cook his own meals and that when he declared his intention of dining elsewhere else-where she hit him on the mouth cutting cut-ting his lip loaded a pistol and threat ertKl to kill him and would have done so if plaintiff had not disarmed her and bystanders persuaded her to desist Thereafter their married life was unbearable un-bearable by reason of the uncalled for sallies of ill temper on the part of Mrs Ireland In July 1S95 at Denver the plaintiff says his wife attacked him with an umbrella in the street and in the presence pres-ence of his friends threatened in loud and boisterous language to smash his face thereby greatly humiliating him She afterwards removed their furniture furni-ture valued at 800 from the commodious commod-ious residence to a small and uncomfortable uncom-fortable house without the knowledge Y or consent of plaintiff and installed her mother as a member of the family and thereafter moved from place to placeBO place-BO that plaintiff was at a loss to know Where next to find his wife and baby Finally in August 1S93 she deserted him and in February 1S9G sent him their infant child Plaintiff asks for a decree of divorce and the custody of the child aged 4 Mrs Ireland filed an answer to the ccmplaint admitting that she deserted her husband and that it is impossible for them to live together She also admits ad-mits that the plaintiff is amply able to take care of the child and resigns the custody of it to him praying only that she may be permitted to visit it at reasonable times at least once a month |
