touched low water mark But little intrest was manifested in the call unul GeyserMarion was reaclvd and at the opening the bid of UO cents was snapped up like a flash but as the stock began to tumble out in 500 and 1000share lots at this figure Ukers began to weaken The dealing in this stick was not at all confined to on or two brokers but every member mem-ber on the floor seemingly had a finger in the pie and so much of the slock was opened that bids of 89 si Mj jL2 and even KGVi cents were r cognized cog-nized but bedrock was touched < at this latter figure and those who had been the most group of three claims is located I lo-cated in Elmore county Idaho W O Kirtland as the representative I of the Pennsylvania Investors had I i charge of the deal and now that It Is I i consummated It is believed that this j will come to the front as one of the i j leading gold producers of the state of I Idaho in which according to Mr I Cranes idea there are more good gold I mines to the square mile than are to be found in any other country In the west I The mine which is equipped with a tenstamp mill was successfully I worked during the past season the output of the property for this year being be-ing in the neighborhood of 17000 most 4 of which has been put back into the mine In the pushing of thorougfi development I devel-opment so that now the property Is able to show up fine ore reserves the gold contents of which will average about 12 to the ton besides a few ounces in silver I Work at the mine and mill has been closed down for the winter on account of the difficulty of operating the mill I during the cold weather as the plant is I worked by water power and the streams are now freezing up In the spring however operations will be resumed I with more activity than eer and it Is expected that before the close of another an-other season the mine will be listed with the other dividend payers of the state of Idaho Mr Crane is also interested In other valuable gold mines throughout the west and with the clientege he is able to boast of it is not unlikely that he will be successful in swinging several more big deals before spring |
