Show DEATHS HARVEST Mrs n P Morris and Mark A Pitt Called Home Mrs Sarah Isaac Morris the wife of Councilman Richard P Morris died at her home yesterday at 910 a m of pneumonia The deceased was the daughter of Benjamin and Phoebe Isaac and was born in Landowror Wales on April 7 1S54 She leaves J behind to mourn her loss a vast acquaintance a husband and four I children aged 1 9 6 and 4 years respectively re-spectively The funeral will be held from the I residence No 205 North Seventh West street tomorrow at 3 oclock I tomorrw oclock Her 1 friends are invited to attend I The death of this woman creates a j I vacancy which will never be filled In the hearts of those who loved her She I I was one whom to know was to reverence rever-ence As a mother she was a treasure I to her children to her husband she I was a priceless jewel to her friends a I I beIng of kindness There are many 1 I sad hearts in the neighborhood where I she lived on this bright morning To I them the sunshine unperceived the clear blue sky wears a sombre hue I lout from all their lives a light has gone never to return I will be along a-long time ere the flowers are fower a fragrant frag-rant as they once were ere the songs of the birds have the same melody they had when with her they sat and listened To the poor she was a friend in need and many an indigent one will miss her charity for to her the poor were always with us Over the last resting place of her who is gone will fall many I a tear Endowed by her creator with a beauty of countenance which few of I her sisters possessed she was gifted I with a disposition which made her seem even more beautiful than she really was I seems bitter indeed that one so lovely both in mind and I person should be taken away just as the noontime of life with all its attendant at-tendant Joys had arrived but such is I the stern decree of fate The deathbed scene was one of those grand ones seldom witnessed but once seen never forgotten On Saturday Satur-day last she was informed by the attending at-tending physicians that she could not survive With that fortitude which comes with the satisfaction that the future is well she called her family and friends together yesterday and bade them a last adieu With loving I messages to absent ones and words of cheer to those who were present she endeavored to stay the tears of those I who stood at the couch of death Then when the last word had been spoken she passed into the sleep from which all hopii to awaken in a land where separation is unknown There Is a Buddhist ceremony which Is used at the consecration of a babe which reads Little one thou comest into the world weeping while all around thee smile so live that when thou shall pass away thou shalt smile while all around thee weep And so has this lady lived so she died I is a sad event for all who loved and respected her but there is a consolation yet remainingsome day all will be wellflirk 3Iarlc A Pitt Mark A Pitt one of the best known and highly respected young men of this city died at St Marys hospital yesterday morning aged 23 years The deceased was a brother of Harold 1 Pitt the manager pf Bradstreets agency of this city The immediate cause of death was diabetes Mn Pitt TVCS Injured In an accident eight years ago while out with some young tien In the moun tains Some of them were rolling stones down the hillside efc him and one of them struck him 1 i the hip injuring him severely An abscess formed and since that time it has troubled him until a few days ago he jvas compelled to go to the hospital anil undergo an operation I was suc ceasfully performed and all was tI ght to be well when diabetes set in stated TMfe deceased was well known In thi cityWKwas at one time the bookkeeper ciy jMerbachs and later with u agen with which his brother w i ipfiie pd conneJ |
