A SOUTHERN PIOKEER GONE A I XVJiUclicml Died at St Gcorsre on XVro Incs Iu7T Word was received in Salt Lake yesterday of the death of A R Whitehead White-head of St George at his home in that city S Mr Whitehead was a pioneer of southern Utah UTany years ago he was in business In Salt Lake but left tills city and settled a Washington City YaBhIn ton where he Washington county engaged en-gaged in business and was manager ofthe woolen mills theve Afterwards he engaged in mining operations and other business ventures which generally gener-ally proved successful He was taken sick recently while engaged in jniiing operations at De Lamar And was i obliged to leave and go to his home at St George but never rallied He j leaves a wife and a large family to mourn his loss S I > ji
