DIED OF LOCKJAW I i David Wells of West Jordan Falls Victim toGas i j i Natural to-Gas I I David Wells a man about 40 years of age died suddenly near the Van Natta II ranch in West Joraan ward Thursday He was engaged in digging i a well and had i reached a depth of 130 feet At 9 a m ho I was lowered into the well immediately 1 signalled to ascend He was at once drawn i up but expired on landing from the effect of the gas that had generated from tho ground and produbed lockjaw The teeth of the unfortunaio man came together I with such force as to completely sever tho 4 j tongue
