I The University Fair The committee appointed to secure a suitable building for the purpose of holding hold-ing ho university fair which will begin next Tuesday made an investigation yesterday yes-terday of the Union opera house on Twenty i first street The place met with the disapproval disap-proval of the entire committee and us the time has become so limited it was decided to drop the literary part of the programme until sometime in the near future The balance of the programme will be carried out as arranged only perhaps on a less extensive scale The store room recently vacated by W W Funge has been secured nnd beginning Tuesday coon refreshments will be served there One of the novel j leutures will be a diversity of tables such as a German and Spanish spread all of which will be made a specialty More I complete arrangements will probably be I made today and announced in the papers tomorrow
