Show SAID TO BE SOLD PostIntelligencer of Seattle May Change Hands Seattle Wash May 8it is reported with considerable authority that the PostIntelligencer has been sold by L S J Hunt to Frederick J Grant late minister to Bolivia and the present editor George H Heilbron manager of the Guarantee Loan and Trust company com-pany who edited the paper during Grants absence at his mission All parties par-ties concerned refuse to talk but Mr Grant who has been absent in the east for two weeks returned tonight and the announcement of the sale will probably soon appear Mr Hurt bought the PostIntelli gencer about six years ago but for the past four years has given it but a general gen-eral supervision He is in very deli cate health and has never entirely recovered re-covered from the illness which prostrated pros-trated him in Chicago a year ago on his way to New York and which kept him confined to his room at the Richelieu Riche-lieu for several months Mr Hallbron tonight declines eiKier to aflirm or ieny the rumor The paper is valued at from 150000 to 210000 |
