OCR Text	Show I THAT GRANT of a franchise to a company to operate steam cars on Main street from South Temple to North Temple thence west to West Temple thence north etc wo think a very dismal piece of business Electric cars are bad enough but dummies dum-mies are simply vile We are happy to observe that the council did not happen to think of granting to the company the Temple block for a depot as that would have spoiled the appearance of that fine block and would have been otherwise other-wise objectionable I We suggest that the members of the I council with the exception of KAKUICK and PEMBROKE who voted against granting the franchise be given positions as conductors on the new road
