RESOLUTIONS OF RESPECT The following resolutions were adopt d by the students of the Latterday Saint college in honor of Martin Jensena student of that institution whose death was chronicled chron-icled yesterday Whereas It has pleased God in His inscrutable in-scrutable providence to call from this stage of action our esteemed and respected friend and brother Martin Jensen of Levan Tuab county and a student of the Latterday Saints college and Whereas During his attendance hi this college he has always shown himself a faithful student and a Godfearing young man and Whereas He has by his creditable course endeared himself t all his associ tes both teachers and students therefore there-fore be it Resolved That we in behalf of all the members of the institution do express our esteem and regard for our departed brother and our condolence with his rela thes and friends in their heavy loss and Resolved That these resolutions be furnished nished the Dcserct Evening News TIE SALT LAKE HERALD and the Nephi Ensign for publication and that a copy be engrossed and presented to his relatives And we pray that God will enable them to bear their affliction with patience trust lug in the wisdom of Him who has given and who when it seemed best suited to His purpose taketh His children unto Him elf S INSTRUCTOR WILLAKD DONE S NATIIVX POKXDK NELLIE WALLACE CLAm TATE PHILIP MATCOCK Committee on Resolutions
