Show loymitSffyD By BERTHA L. MUIR 295-3742 Mrs. Florence Mercer spent Thanksgiving Day at the -home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Mercer in Bountiful. There were 34 family members present to enjoy the happy day together and Thanksgiving dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas White of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. John Claudniki and children Susan and Jason were visitors at the home of Mrs. Florence Mercer last week. The Claudnikis are from Chicago and are in Utah for the Thanksgiving holiday. Mrs. Stephanie Hoeppner was a guest of her grandmother grand-mother Mrs. Thelma Snider for a few days last week. Stephanie is a policewoman in the United States Army. She entered the Army in June 1978 and is now a Specialist 4th Class and is stationed at the Army base in Frankfort, Germany. She is on leave and is visiting her parents in Colorado and her grandmother grand-mother in Bountiful. Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Watson spent Thanksgiving Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Watson Jr. Other guests were Lynn Watson of Idaho Falls and Mike, who attends the University of Utah. Mrs. Ruby M. Layton spent Thanksgiving Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Muir in Brigham City. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Don Atkinson and five children of Smithfield, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Munns and three children and Frank W. Muir of Provo and Jon Muir. Mrs. Thelma Snider and Miss Lorrie Brough were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Kent Brough for dinner on Thanksgiving Day. Glen Ledingham was a Thanksgiving Day guest at the home of his son, Mr. and Mrs. Darold Ledingham of Brigham City. Mrs. Bertha L. Muir was a dinner guest of Dr. and Mrs. Stewart Slingerland of Provo on Thanksgiving Day. It was a happy day with the six Slingerland Slin-gerland children. Other guests were Dr. and Mrs. Wallace E. Hess, Miss Linda Hess and Dan Hess of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Eldora Peterson spent Thanksgiving Day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clark in Springville. In the evening she had a Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing Day dinner at her home in Bountiful for members of her immediate family, Mr. and Mrs. Kert Burningham, two other daughters Lone and Loraine Peterson. The monthly book review will be held at the Golden Years Center on Monday, Dec. 3 at 1 p.m. Mrs. Ann Stringfellow will be the guest artist. She will present a Christmas story and the public is invited to attend. Programs will be given each month by the book review group. Remember the date Dec. 5 at 1 p.m., Golden Years Center. The Amrina Club met Saturday, Sa-turday, Nov. 17 for a potluck luncheon at the home of Mrs. Bertha Muir. Guests present were Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Tzraska of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Seth Stewart of Kays-ville, Kays-ville, Mrs. Lillian Wood, Mrs. Blanche Moss, Mrs. Ardell Mills, Mrs. Fern Anderson and Mrs. Lillian Wood. The blessing of the food was given by Mr. Tzraska. The afternoon was spent talking of the past 40 years the group has been organized. The founder of the group was the late Amy Rurnel Newton Snaps taken by Mrs. Moss were given to each member. Mrs. Dora Trowbridge entertained en-tertained at a family Thanksgiving Thanks-giving dinner on Thursday evening. There were 25 family members present. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Tzraska of Salt Lake City were Bountiful visitors last Monday. Miss Zora Sabin has just published her second volumn of poems titled "So Dear To My Heart." It is a beautiful white book with gold lettering. letter-ing. It contains many poems which show Zora's deep understanding un-derstanding of human thoughts and emotions.
