NSl Schedules 2 Public Clearings NORTH SALT LAKE -There will be two public hearings for proposed rezon-ing rezon-ing of property at North Salt Lake City Council meeting next Tuesday, Dec. 4. THE FIRST public hearing at 7:30 p.m. will be to consider con-sider rezoning of property east of Orchard Dr. and north of Center St. from Residential-! to Residential-3 to allow for construction of condominiums. con-dominiums. City Manager Collin Wood said the rezoning is necessary to allow for higher density housing that is planned. Residential-1 restricts development to single-family dwellings. A SECOND zoning meeting, scheduled for 8 p.m. or as soon after the first hearing as possible, will be to hear a request from a property owner to rezone his property from Residenlial-1 to Residential-3 so that multiple dwellings or professional offices of-fices can be erected at the site. The property is on Center St. east of Slate Highway -89-91, according to the city manager.
