Show Golden Years Bazaar The Golden Years bazaar was a great success, according accord-ing to the staff and those who displayed many beautiful and useful handmade items which were for sale. A thank y i is extended to all who participated par-ticipated or helped in any way and to the public with browsing brows-ing and purchasing the lovely articles. THE GOLDEN Years Kitchen Band was invited to play for the E.M. Whitesides School in Layton last week. The students gave this fine band a standing ovation for the excellent concert. More than 300 persons attended at-tended the monthly luncheon at the center. The tables were decorated with Thanksgiving turkeys, Indian corn and bunches of wheat for festive tables. Mr. D. Jewkes of Provo provided an outstanding outstand-ing musical program as he sang favorite numbers, a fine artist who the center is fortunate for-tunate in having. Grant Peterson Pe-terson served as master of .ceremonies. f - . THERE WILL be a book review on Dec. 3 in the form of a Christmas story given by Ann Stringfellow. Everyone is invited to this special program at I p.m. The monthly luncheon will be held Dec. 20 in the center. A musical program will be presented by the Stewart Glow Orchestra. MEMBERSHIPS at the center will be due at the end of the year and may be paid at any time. A membership card entitles the holder to many special privileges at the center as well as discounts to senior citizens by various businesses and organizations. The membership card will be $6 for the year. The New Year's Eve party is being planned but the final plans are still tentative. The affair will probably be held during the afternoon with a buffet dinner, dancing and games. Everyone is invited to-attend to-attend this senior citizen affair. af-fair.
