Show i vJi, fi-fvv- - il Kr It " V GIRL SCOUT FUN Girl Scouts enjoyed their annual outing in Mueller Park again this year. The camp gives them opportunity to learn and sharpen skills in many areas, as well as enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. If you happened to be in Mueller Park anytime during the day from June 16 through 20 you would have seen 80 Girl Scouts and 30 Pixies being taught by 25 leaders how to build fires, knot tying, First aid and a variety of crafts, games, hikes and skits. THE GIRL Scouts range in age from 6-9 years and are from troops in Bountiful, Centerville, Cen-terville, West Bountiful and Woods Cross. The girls have looked forward for-ward to day camp for about five months and with the volunteer help of troop leaders, lead-ers, mothers, forest rangers, "Smokey the Bear," a nurse and some firemen they spent a successful week in Mueller Park. |
