Show Henry Nicholes And Hildegard Postler United In Marriage j Announcements were received by many St. George people the fore i part of the week of the marriage in the Salt Lake Temple Wednesday, Wed-nesday, June 21, of Miss Hildegard Hilde-gard Postler, daughter of Mrs. Rosa Postler of London, England, and Henry J. Nicholes, son of Professor and Mrs. Joseph K. Nicholes of Provo. Henry was born in St. George while his father was located here as one of the earliest teachers of the Dixie junior college, when it was known as the St. George stake academy. He received his early education here, graduating from the Dixie college and went from here to Provo, graduating from the "Y" in 1935. The past two years he has been attending the University . of Wisconsin, where he is a research assistant in the department of physiology and is working toward his doctor's doc-tor's degree. The Provo Sunday Herald of June 18, carries a photo of the bride, who was born and educated educat-ed in Vienna, Austria. She joined the L.D.S. church in 1929 and came to America in September, 1938. She has made her home in Madison, Wis., with Dr. and Mrs. Arthur D. Hasler, former Provo people, who she met when Doctor Hasler was a missionary in Vienna. It was in Madison she met and became betrothed to Mr. Nicholes. Announcements state that Mr. and Mrs. Nicholes will be at home at 207 North Randall avenue, Madison, Wis. after September 15, 1939. They will remain in Provo at the home of the groom's parents until they return to Madison, where Henry will resume re-sume his studies. |
