Show GUNLOCK RESIDENT DIED IN ST. GEORGE FRIDAY; FUNERAL HELD Su"MY Amos Hunt.- of Oms'.. .!.. has been seriously i'l li.ro at the home of Mrs. Agatha McAllister, McAl-lister, died Friday night, October 2 6th, of poisonous goiter. Mr. Hunt had been in poor health for about four months. . Mr. Hunt had been a successful success-ful farmer at Gunlock, and a splendid church worker for many years. He was superintendent for twenty-one ' years and has always taken active part in the M. I. A. work. His congenial personality and cheerful disposition dispo-sition had won for him the friendship of all who came in contact with him. Funeral services were held in Gunlock on Sunday, October 28th with Bishop F. J. Bowler presiding. pre-siding. (Singing was provided by the Gunlock and Enterprise choirs under the direction of Roy Staheli, of Enterprise. The opening prayer was given by Albert E. Miller, of St. George. Speakers were: Hyrum Jones, Harry Bowler, Edwin S. Jones, Lee V. Leavitt, George H. Bowler, William T. Truman, Heber Truman, G-r Henry Bowler, President Orval Hafen, T. J. Bowler. Vocal solo by Athna Terry, of Enterprise, and the closing prayer pray-er by Wm. Lund of Enterprise. The grave was dedicated by Walter Cannon, of St. George. It is estimated that the largest larg-est crowd to ever turn out to a funeral in Gunlock gave their respects to this man. He is survived by his wife. Mary Ellen Holt and the following fol-lowing children: Heber J., of Gunlock. Emma Frampton, of Los Angeles. Lula Dunnaway, of Nevada, Mildred Marshall, of Boulder City, and Ivan of Gun-lock. |
