T" : Mr. and Mrs. Cole Noyes Carolyn Dalton, Cole Noyes Vied in Recent Rites Carolyn Dalton and Coleman Cole-man Louie Noyes were united in marriage Nov. 27 in the Moab LDS Chapel with Bishop Ed Johnson presiding. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neal K. Dalton, and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Noyes, former Moabites now living in Price. Debbie Dalton, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor with JoeLynn Dalton, sister-in-law of the bride, Nelda Noyes, sister of the groom, and Annette Leavitt as bridesmaids. brides-maids. Flower girls were Tina Nyland, cousin of the bride, Trini Noyes, sister of the groom, and Stephanie Dalton, niece of the bride. Wesley and Jeff Noyes, brothers of the groom, and Jim Nyland, cousin of the bride, accompanied the flower girls and received gifts from guests. Paul Holyoak was best man, and groomsmen were Chuck, Wayne and Spencer Noyes, brothers of the groom. Carolyn chose for her wedding a gown of white bridal satin with fitted bodice, high neck, full sleeves and a full lace bridal train. This and the matching headpiece and veil were made by Delma Vancil. Bridesmaids were attired in printed floral floor-length gowns. The flower girls wore pastel dresses with pinafores of fabric matching the bridesmaids brides-maids dresses. The bride's bouquet was an orchid highlighted with carnations, carna-tions, cattails and pheasant feathers, and the groom's boutenniere was also fashioned fashion-ed of pheasant feathers. At the reception, tables were decorated with centerpieces center-pieces also made of pheasant feathers. The seven-tier cake, made by Darlene Nelson, was decorated with orange, yellow and brown leaves in a fall theme, and was surrounded with six small cakes. The traditional applesauce, raisin and spice cake was served with fruit punch, nuts and mints, made by the bride's mother. Serving guests were Betty Dalton, Roberta Knutson, and Kathleen Berry with Sue Johnson, Orice Irish and Linda Bleggi assisting. Linda Irish was at the guest book with Vonna McDougall, Carrie Johnson and Sue Kyle at the gift table. The newlyweds are making their home in Elmo, Utah, and the groom is employed at the Huntington Power Plant. An open house will honor Carolyn and Cole on Dec. 3 at the LDS Cultural Hall, 3rd West 5th South in Price, Utah. |
