Show SERVICES FOR J. M. GORE Well attended and impressive services were conducted Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon, in the Third ward chapel, for John Malcam Gore, highly respected citizen and an ardent church member of this community, who died Saturday following a short illness, at his home 101 West Second South street. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery under direction of Claud-in Claud-in funeral home. Mr. Gore was born at Albany, Ga., November 28, 1860, a son of Martin and Almenta Ariena Gore. He was converted to the L. D. S. faith in 1889, in Georgia, and his home was always open to L. D. S. (missionaries in that vicinity. In 1925, Mr. and Mrs. Gore came to 'Utah and were married in the Salt Lake temple. They returned to Georgia, and gain in 1928 came Ao Springville to make their home. Mr. Gore was a member of the high priests quorum at the time of his death. He is survived by the widow Mrs. Sally Thomas Nixon Gore, and five sons, John A. Gore, Moul- i trie, Ga.; J. M. and A. H. Gore. Camilla, Ga.; A. B. and W. T. Gore, Springville; 19 grandchild-Ten grandchild-Ten and 10 great grandchildren. |
