Thev were complimented at a wedding reception recep-tion in the Ioka LDS Ward Chapel. Qecspiion Held For TeEpIe Uedded Couple A double-ring ceremony in the Salt Lake LDS Temple united in matrimony Miss Laura Roene . Lemon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Lemon, . of Ioka. and Wayne Paul Russon, son of :- Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Russon, of Roosevelt'. The marriage took place Wednesday, Nov. 26, with President Robert D. Young performing per-forming the ceremony. Following a short honeymoon trip the newlyweds were honored hon-ored at a reception in the Ioka LDS Ward Chapel, Saturday, Dec. 6. The bride's wedding ft'own was of white heavy satin, fashioned with a fitted bodice which was fastened with tiny white satin buttons and came to a point at the waist, with the full gathered skirt accented with three ruffles. A stand-up collar . and sleeves tapering to points at the wrist completed the designing. Her fingertip veil of bride's illusion was edged in wide lace and cascaded cas-caded from a seed pearl tiara. Her bridal bouquet was of red roses. Miss Nadine Fausett, maid of honor, wore a pink ballerina-length ballerina-length formal, and the bridesmaids, brides-maids, Misses Maxine and Sally Nelson and Miss LaRae Drol-linger, Drol-linger, were attired in ballerina formals of green, yellow and blue, respectively. All attendants had dainty floral nosegays. Attending to best man duties was Wendell Russon, twin brother broth-er of the bridegroom. Mother of the bride wore an afternoon dress of purple crepe, and the groom's mother chose a green crepe ensemble. Both had white carnation corsages. Mr. Russon, father of the groom, was master of ceremonies cere-monies and announced the following fol-lowing program numbers: vocal duet, Mrs. Garth Tietjen and Mrs. Joe Moysh, accompanied by Mrs. Hollis Hullinger; vocal solos by Dwain Marsh, accompanied accom-panied by LeRae Drollinger; piano pi-ano solo, Phillip Russon; tap dance, Rosalie Green; and vocal 5 solo, Evelyn Fausett. ' In the serving room, guests were seated at small tables," centered cen-tered with pink roses. A large life-covered table was centered with a three-tiered pink and w'lite wedding cake, topped with the' traditional miniature bride and groorrt Pink and white tapers in crystal holders completed the decoration. Assisting in the gift room were Mrs. Elmer Lemon. Mrs. Claude Nebeker, Mrs. Wendell Russon and the Misses Mary Ann and Virginia Mathison. Gift bearer were tiny Ila Vaye and Geneil Lemon, both wearing like orchid dresses. In charge of the serving were Mrs. Joshua Timothy and the Misses Flora Tanner and Mildred Mil-dred Bird. Approximately two hundred guests were present to offer congratulations to the newly wedded pair, who will make their home in Roosevelt. They will move into their new home in the near future.- |
