Show 80th Birthday Is Observed By Mrs. Winkler By Garda Seeley BLUEBELL (Special) Mrs. M. Verona Winkler celebrated her 80th birthday on Friday, Feb. 12. A family dinner and get-; together was given in her honor hon-or February 13 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Wilmer Murray Mur-ray at Myton. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Winkler, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Monsen, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Goodrich,' Mrs. Alice Mathews, and the guest of honor, Mrs. M. Verona Winkler, all of Blue? bell, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Winkler, of Todd Park and Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Muray and 6ons, Jerry and Darrell. Mrs. Winkler is the mother of 9 children; 8 of which are living. They are Alice Mathews, Math-ews, Verona Goodrich, Velma Monsen and Bernard Winkler, all of Bluebell, Justin Winkler of Provo, Ira Winkler of Todd (Continued on back cage) 80th Birthday . . . (Continued from oage 1) Park, Anna Murray of Myton and Eernest Winkler of Bonanza. Bon-anza. She has 43 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Winkler was born Feb. 12, 1874 in Salem, a daughter of Ira W. and Alice Snow Gardner. She was married to Herman J. Winkler in the Man-ti Man-ti Temple July 6, 1894. They came to Bluebell from Ferron, Emery County in 1910. Mr. Winkler died on June 19, 1926. Mrs. Winkler at 80 lives alone; does her own housework; enjoys good health, and knits, crochetts and reads without the use of glasses. Each member of the family is the proud owner of some very beautiful handiwork of their mother and grandmother. She has worked for 22 years in the Primary of which she was president. She has been president of Relief Society for 23 years.
