Show ieetcH-Sennett Mrs. Fern Houston Birthday Party Honors Son Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Bolton entertained at a birthday party for their son, Douglas. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Harrison and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Harrison and Nida Beth Harrison were present. pres-ent. Mr. and Mrs. Bolton were also hosts during the week at a family fam-ily dinner honoring their son. Jay, on his birthday anniversary. anniver-sary. Other guests included members of Mr. Bolton's family. Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Bowden are the parents of a baby girl born June 2 at the Lehi hospital. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Russon are caring for the Bowden Bow-den children while their mother is in the hospital. Mrs. Frances Bowden visited Friday in Vernal with Ona Wooley. Andrew Anderson, of Reno, Nevada, visited at the Clair and Johnnie Haslem homes Thursday. Albert Linger, of Denver, Colorado, visited Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Col-tharp. Col-tharp. Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Russon were Vernal visitors Tuesday. Joan and Wayne Harrison, o Bingham, are spending the summer sum-mer months with their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Horrocks. Kenneth Phillips and Myron Haslem were recent hosts at a weiner roast held at Camp Walkup. Games furnished the entertainment. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Anderson, of Vernal, visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Horrocks Mr. and Mrs. Ab Price, of Vernal, visited Sunday at the Clair and Johnnie Haslem homes. Mrs. Edna Broadhead and daughter, Karma, of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Horrocks, of Lapoint, spent Sunday evening visiting Bishop and Mrs. Otis Horrocks. Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Long and family motored to Orem Sunday to visit Mrs. Long's father, J. P., Ruby, who has been very ill. At this writing he is very much improved. |
