Show Saltan Mrs. Ellen Bracken Phone 62062 90th Birthday Is Celebrated John A. Gardner accompanied accompan-ied his sister, Mrs. Winired Long to St. George last week to be with their father, J. P. Rudy in celebrating his 90th birthday. The members of the Rudy family going down enjoyed en-joyed a Temple excursion on Mr. Rudy's birthday. Mr. Rudy was an early pioneer of Alterra. Larry Larsen returned to' Ft. Ord, Calif., where he is stationed sta-tioned in the Armed Forces and his wife will resume her school work at the Duchesne High School. Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Wallace and daughters, Mrs. Wallace Teusher and Mrs. Carroll Bennett Ben-nett and Sheri Lynn, all of Vancouver, Van-couver, Washington, enjoyed a week's visit at the home of Mrs. Wallace's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Ross. NEIGHBORHOOD PARTY The Neighborhood party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Squire on Friday evening. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. David Lundberg, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kettle, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cook, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Squire, Mr. and Mrs. .John Page, Mr. and Mrs. Alden White, and Mr. and Mrs. Junior Betts. Games were played play-ed and delicious refreshments served. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Gay and three children, of Salt Lake City, were callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Betts one day last week. Mrs. Gay was the former Mary Mason, an early resident of Ballard. . Mrs. Mary' Collins, who spent a few weeks in Salt Lake City with her son, Leslie, and family, fam-ily, returned and is now with her daughter, Mrs. Ernest Betts. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Shisler and small daughter, who spent the winter months at New Or-x Or-x leans, La., returned last week and are now at the Tom Shisler home. Karl had employment at New Orleans. Mr. and Mrs. David Lundberg and four daughters and Mr. Lundberg's mother made a trip last week to Lusk, Wyo., to get Mr. Lundberg's belongings. He will now be employed at Roosevelt. |
