Show Homer Roberts Funeral Rites Held Last Wed. Friends and relatives from different dif-ferent parts of the state, California, Califor-nia, and Idaho, gathered Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon at the Olpin-Sund-berg Mortuary to pay last tribute of respect to Homer Roberts and express sympathy for his family. The impressive service was directed dir-ected by Bishop Welby Gammon of the Fifth Ward. Invocation was offered by Emerson Lyman, a cousin. Speakers who paid tribute to the memory of Mr. Roberts and offered sympathy and encouragement encourage-ment to the family were: William T. Stevens, an uncle of the departed depar-ted and Junius A. West. Inspiring musical numbers were two vocal solos "Face To Face" and "Peace I Leave With You" by Warren Kirk, accompanied by Mrs. Kirk. After closing remarks of sympathy sympa-thy and appreciation by Bishop Gammon, bendiction was pronounced pronoun-ced by Fay Roberts, an uncle. Interment was made in the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove City Cemetery where the dedicatorial prayer was offered offer-ed by Boyd Anderson, ensen, Gerald Belliston, Kent 9nderson, Boyd Anderson, William Halliday and Boyd Anderson. Pleasant Grove Fifth Ward Relief Society cared for and arranged ar-ranged the floral offerings. |
